LW Theatres

A show-stopping web presence

Andrew Lloyd Webber and his team had begun the restoration of the West End’s much loved The Lane Theatre. This beautiful new destination needed a high end luxury website which would showcase all that they had to offer.

The problem

The Lane was transforming from a theatre to a new all-day destination. The website needed to show off the versatile space, from afternoon tea rooms, to cafés and even a cocktail bar.

The solution

Considering the numerous new user journeys that the new website would accommodate, the information architecture, usability and accessibility needed to be streamlined and best-in-class.

Our component-based approach to design alongside a headless CMS by Contentful made the website easy to update for content editors. The back-end has been built using React, Next,js and Netlify for hosting.

Our favourite moment

A welcome moment of positive feedback from the Lloyd Webber family themselves, which came at the perfect time as we worked through some last minute client changes.

“Madeleine Lloyd Webber has said she loves it! I don't want to downplay what a huge win that feedback is from the highest level. We are all absolutely thrilled!”

The result
